Weight Watchers
Nov 4th, 2008, 12:42am

I started (and stopped) the weight watchers program in March 2008 and I am just now getting it. I saw an aquaintance who started the same program in October 2007 and has since lost 92.3lbs. She helped me more than the group leader did. Because I had to have so many points (44), I was not eating all of my food. So therefore sending my body into starvation mode.

needless to say, I only lost 10lbs before; I have re-started since speaking with her and pray that this is my time.

Weight Watchers is a proven program. It's been around forever! I know so many people that swear by it.

On that note. If you are thinking of joining WW, wait. I am working with them now trying to work out a discount for our readers and subscribers. Hopefully up to 25% off. I will post the info here once I know the details.

That would be great! Right now I am doing the boot leg version of WW, which means that I don't go to the meetings, but I still have all of my materials. I thought about joining online, so I will just wait to see what you come with.

Thank you so much!  Smiley

I’m working on the WW Diet alone no meetings, I find the meetings are too expensive not helpful, with no individual help. I can’t stand measurement scale in public.

My doctor is pleased, I’ve been more successful counting points working out keep the daily food log I’ve lost 20 lbs now maintaining motivation is always challenging.

With winter fast approaching golf clubs are stored for the winter it's time to go to the gym and swim, now that’s a tough challenge.

It’s one pound at a time inch by inch  with small goals every 10 pounds I loose I reward myself with something.  Trip to the movie – new shoes –

Writing down every speck I eat or drink has been very helpful.  I still need to gag down more water daily

I find I’m loosing inches or at lease rearranging them LOL

Ya'all come back now Eh!

Ciao Bella

Bella, I am also doing the boot-leg version of WW. I sent a message to you earlier thanking you. You seem to be focused and on your way to the best you ever. Thank you for letting tag along with you; I love aqua-jogging, but I sometimes feel like it may not be enough. I won't stop though....

Have a good eating day  Smiley

Hi Charon

Yes, we'll be each other motivational WW butt moving team.
Keep moving, you can do it. It's winter here now and with below ZERO temps it's bone chilling to get my BUTT swimming, but I will focus on lane swimming once a week and gym twice. Food is on going I find gets easier.

My issue is "WATER" I can't drink that much I feel like I retain
every ounce then when its time to sleep I PPPPPPPPP  lol

Have a great WW day!

Bella,
You are so funny!!!  Cheesy  I drink a lot of water and I PPPPP at night as well.  My doctor said he wasn't concern about me going at night, as long as I was going.  I have not been on the scale for about 2 weeks, but I know that I need to....

I have been watching Ruby on the Style channel and she reminds me so much of me.  We are about the same size and have begun to relate to her.  I bought a dress that is clearly too small but I am deteremined to get in to it! I am so excited about this partnership, I look forward seeing less of you  Grin !!!!

Bella & Charon,

Congrats to both of you-sounds like you are making progress! I'm stuck on the same number for quite some time. Just began taking thyroid meds, so wondering what that will do too (it's so fun getting older!)

In the meantime, I'm still trying to move more & eat less-there's still lots of life ahead!
Cool

Ginnymay,

It will definitely get better.  It seems like there are only 3 people having weight loss issues. We will help each other to get through this, let's keep in touch and encouraged.

Good Luck to all of us.... Smiley

Bouquet of roses for everyone struggling with diets weight loss or changing their lifestyle. Remember One Day At A time Three small meals a day and 3 friut snacks Drink water until you float away.

Counting points is not as challenging as counting calories. For me it’s getting in the 30 – 60 minutes of exercise a day and drinking all that water. WATER is the key to toning the muscles and flushing fat.

Doing WW alone has had its issues; it's been a rough long road to stay motivated. I've lost 25 lbs and 8 inches the pounds come off too slow I’m triple AAA personality and I want stuff done now.

I’m sure I woke up one morning and poof I was ‘FAT’ my conviction is healthy lifestyle change.

But I also know I could push harder to loose more, unfortunately I’ve not found the inner turbo boots key yet.  I golf and I ride my bike every night work out on the Wii fit.

This winter I decided to go back to the gym for 6 months and get back on the treadmill daily it’s easier to feel motivated there with other people.

My reality check is, when I win the Lottery I can be
NIPPED SUCKED PLUCKED TUCKED AND VENEERED

Cheers with ice water Eh!

Ciao Bella
