“Slow down and enjoy the things that really matter.”

Is your Outbox being squeezed shut by all the “to-dos” in your Inbox? Do you feel like there is not enough time in the day to get everything done? If so, it’s time to simplify your life.

When you do, you have more time for the things that are important to you, like reading, traveling, entertaining, exercising, visiting with friends, etc.

Look for ways to simplify your daily chores. It can be done through better organization, changing some old habits, simply saying, “No,” or, even asking for help.

Slowing down is something you need to do, for your physical, mental and emotional health. So, take it slow – and enjoy!

    Thank you so much for this article today, I work during the day for a utility company and have a small business that I started two years ago. My 9-5 job demands that you accomplish performance goals each year on top of your regular work load. My husband is disabled he doesn’t pull his load and I had surgery the beginning of the year for a severe torn rotar cuff. I recently had a birthday the 16th I never did anything but work, when I read this article I felt like the light bulb went off in my head. I can’t seem to go forward with my business because I have so much to do and I’m tired. I’m proud to say that I stopped feeling like I have to cook every meal. Recently, I have stopped having family and friends over on Sunday’s it was the best thing I could have done for myself. Sometimes I feel like I’m not in my own body I can’t remember what I’m saying or what I have to do next. If that’s not a sign to slow down nothing is. Thank you for this article.

    I am very happy when I get up in the morning to read these meditations. They inspire me and make me feel motivated. They ALSO keep me on track =)
