Price You Pay for Holding on to Hate

by Jane Powell on April 13, 2010

“Hate is an invisible chain.”

When you don’t let go of hate, you let the thing or person you hate maintain control over you. You allow the hatred to keep the channels of negative energy open, sucking out positive emotions and holding you back from true happiness.

Cut off the hate and move on! When you cleanse your mind and soul of grudges and negative thoughts, you make new room for positive emotions and joy. Take a moment today to consciously let go of all hatred. Savor the new energy that you’ll feel bursting through to take its place!

I also read or heard somewhere: ““unforgiveness is the poison you take hoping someone else will die”

I often think that if I was to have a misgiving, I hope someone else will be merciful enough to forgive me. For the parents out there, would you like your children to not forgive each other and love each other? Just my two cents… Peace…!

You are so on point with this message. Every morning I wake up pray all negative thoughts out my mind. I feel so much better after doing so.

Powerful message you’re absolutely correct Hate & Anger are the most toxic emotion we possess. Often our Negativity attitudes are the key emotions that feeds Anger & hate. Moving forward to deal with life’s issues can be all consuming if you allow the past to eat away at you psyche.

Personal “issues” It is what it is, and we cannot change what we have no control over. Our emotional and spiritual attitudes are in our control; everyday we wake up and make choices, we’re either going to have a “good day” or a toxic emotional rollercoaster ride.

Yes! there are days when we’re derailed emotionaly but tomorrrow is alway brighter. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff!

Not an easy task to fine something positive when you’re life is in chaos. Even after the death of my child to cancer I stil can find something to Celebreate every day!

This article has really open my eyes and mind. I have been feeling so tensed and stressed for some time now, it has been so difficult to let go, especially when the hurt comes from people that are close to you……. Thank you so much for the help.

Something to think about. While you are taking up so much of your own energy hating the person who made you angry, he or she isn’t even thinking about you.
What a waste of time
